  1. Excuse me but is it necessary to be rude and offensive? Yes I object to your assumptions of me being middle aged. I wouldn't mind silly comments like that if you actually knew who you were exchanging text with but you don't so leave it out. If you want banter, smutty tongue in cheek comments and all that conversations can be taken to the lounge I believe. There are particular rules to different sections of this forum. It's not that difficult to work out so why you getting your knickers in a twist?

And a crime section? Whilst I guess it might be deemed as unnessary to have such a section as ED is not really that bad a place (as opposed to other areas overall etc) but I do feel when loading on the main page to be confronted with thread after thread as little depressing as I think all there is to ED is crime. It could have stickys with the appropriate numbers to call for what kind of crime (is that the right way to put it?) If not a "crime" section maybe something titled a little more pleasing to the eye where such threads and discussions can be placed.
  3. I have never thought removing comments from a thread that have no part of the conversation and completely dirveting the topic as censorship. More a case of keeping a thread flowing in the way it was initially intended. Apologies if you are meaning something else entirely!
  4. I saw three of the McGann's standing together at the bus stop a couple of years ago. The other half wouldn't have it partly because he didn't know who I was gasping at.

I agree huguenot. I guess the forum isn't all about DJKQ afterall. :)
  6. I reckon you and KK would get on so well. She works in a church you know ;-)

    Low-cut tops

to be fair DJKQ telling someone to stop whinning for having their own view that is not the same as yours (whether they've taken it as a personal attack and whether you did or didnt intend it in that manner) is not really in the spirit of a good "debate" now is it? A bit of respect for others might be considered perhaps? We are not all on the same page as you.
  8. joking or not Vik that is seriously bad taste
  9. for whom though? It would seem many here have grumbles of one kind or another against someone. I can feel the love here!
  10. Mother always said "two wrongs don't make a right"
  11. Tesco Wine M&S offers And Asdas' have offers too. All do home deliveries.
  12. Ludymuck one does presume there is life outside of the forum? If you dont get on with someone on here and in person (met from here) surely we're all grown up enough to let it be? It's disheartening to think it all comes to be about one person. Sorry it is the way I'm reading it. I do apologise if I'm wrong.
  13. I'm still not quite sure what to make of you all :-$
  14. Check this thread out I bring this thread to your attention not to be "so ****ing pedantic!" as stevebailey kindly puts it but to highlight this is a continuous thread and might, just might, be of interest to other newer members to the forum. When I said it's not an "issue" I wasn't suggesting anything of a "pedantic" nature at all. Everything has it's place on the forum that's all. Wind your neck in stevebailey and play nicely why don't you.
  15. So what is your point then?
  16. Have you just twigged now that that's what all this malarky is about? You (the general public) are being told how to vote by the way the press are reporting - so and so is more popular than so and so so you then support the other way blah blah blah. I'd be more inclined to ignore press coverage and take a trip to the local video shop...
  17. Hahahaha are you seriously basing a view on that completely unfactual rubbish? Make your own mind up and don't be TOLD what to do by others!
  18. Busy? Are you sure? Whenever myself or partner pop in to make an appointment (there really is no point trying to call as no one ever picks up or when they do they always come up with some excuse of the phones not working) there is no one in there - patients or staff! AND you still have to wait an incredibly long time to be seen even then.
  19. There are many decent "slimline" pcs out there. Or "space saving" ones. Mine is an Acer. It its nice and small and doesn't scare away visitors.
