Hi Toniat,

Welcome to ED!

If you dou do a search on this forum for Kuki Hair, Bellenden Road

http://www.kukihair.com/

you'll find lots of rave reviews. Many of us in ED wouldn't go anywhere else.

Brilliant hairdressers and very reasonably priced, which sadly, some around here are not!

Best Wishes

Pam

It's probably a matter of trying out a load of places/stylists till you find somebody you rate for your particular hair type and style preferences.

I had tried everywhere round here, had given up (amazed to see someone above recommending GMs, but maybe they have improved) and was going to Charles Worthington in town, then the person who cut my hair there left and things went downhill again (Edited to add: Until Kuki opened!).

Shingo at Kuki is brilliant with my thin, fine hair. Definitely the best cutter I have ever had, and I have in the past had some good ones (not round here though, until now). Somebody stopped me in the street recently to ask where I had it cut as she wanted to go there!

He's also very reasonably priced compared to many other places, plus the cut lasts a long time which is a bonus :)

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
