I had a baby 2 months ago and I would like to get back into the gym, the think is finding the time to go. Ideally I would like to go during the day a few times a week for an hour. Does anyone know if there are any gyms around the area that offer any childcare/creche facilites? I used to go to Hamlets health club, they do a parents memebership but don't have any child care. Or are there any other new mums who have had the same idea, we could take turns looking after each others babies, just an idea!

Yes, ESPH does have a creche - Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30-12.30. It costs ?6/hour for members and is run by a lovely lady. We used the facility couple of times but we have managed to find a part-time nanny who is lovely. She comes to our house for 2 hours every morning Mon-Wed and then 3 hours on Friday.

I just felt that our little one was too young to be in the creche with other toddlers (baby is now 5m old) running around although they do limit the numbers.

The postnatal pilates is quite good and yes, you can take the baby with you in the pram. I went to a class last week and managed to stay for 40 mins until the baby stated screaming :)

I researched and researched into this for a couple of months and am really happy with the arrangement now!

    • @Administrator can you change the thread title please. Fire at Finches, would be appropriate.   I'm gutted about the popular shop
    • Can anyone help me understand how this might have happened.  Friend has suddenly seen a document appear in her documents folder on her iPad. It's clearly a draft of a communication written by her solicitor concerning her and intended for a third party.  It's not an email.  I don't understand how this can have happened.  Could it be that the solicitor has inadvertently clicked something while saving the file and the cloud has shared it with the client to whom the document relates? Anyone offer an explanation?
    • Hello  We are looking for somewhere to store our 3 seater sofa whilst our house is undergoing building work. Would love to find somewhere cheaper than the cost of renting a storage locker. Will probably need to store it for around 3 months. Thanks!
    • We found them useless. Their sales person was too busy selling their friend's fitting services so we went to Potter Perrin. And used them 3 times since. Will never go to Bells.
