I hadn't considered that, gets more mysterious doesn't it?

I can't find any soups in 100ml containers online. I found some condensed shite, but that was in tins, and I can't see them breaking up in turbulence.

Was this powdered soup?

Nope. Curioser and curioser.

A very clear correlation between poverty and obesity - no surprise there - but not a universal one: Tower Hamlets, anyone? Lambeth?

As it happens, I finished reading the "Midwife" book just a few days ago. And while it does contain distressing scenes that one wouldn't find today, it also laments the decline in morality and community which the journalist conveniently sidesteps.
  • 3 weeks later...

It is so comforting to know that after 15 000 years someone is here to waste our money explaining to us what the effects and uses of alcohol are.

They could have just asked these guys.

Whose greatest contribution must be this ?

'Everybody Else': Enjoys a drink and is fully aware of all the possible consequences. Reckons as long as the NHS is funded by their tax money, they'll do whatever they want and Dawn Primarolo can shut her fucking face.

I don?t mean to alarm anyone but everything is now fucked.

Completely and utterly fucked.

The scheming sociopaths who have been running Britain are doing their best to fuck it up even more so that its people are spread eagled, trousers down ready for the neo fascist who are soon to take power and oversee our brave new age of strangling corporate monopoly and curtailed, monitored personal freedom.

America is fucked.

Pakistan has exploded

So has Israel.

South Africa has taken one more major step towards becoming just another defunct, farcical African dictatorship.

We could have all been redeemed by a great big underground tunnel that may have created a black hole and sucked the entire bang shoot into non-existence. Unfortunately it?s broken.

And that?s all just from glancing at a few headlines.
