Anyone see that car crashed on Bellenden rd this morn?

Right next to The Prince Albert this morning was a people carrier/ford galaxy type thing that had crashed into the wall right next to Paul's Custom Cycles and I guess just left. No police tape or owt...

Wasn't there when I cycled back from work at 2130, but was when I went this morning at 0700.

Hopefully no one hurt!

When I wandered past just now I mistook it for an art project initially!

you can see from the white part of the green tiled wall in the picture that it isn't the first time a car has crashed into the pedestrian space. Cars travelling too fast in a road which narrows.

You're right about it being too narrow and cars traveling too fast there. Do you know for sure someone else has crashed there? I'm pretty sure I remember the tiles just falling off, but I could be wrong...

Must have been going way too fast, hit the kerb/island, and lost control.

Not sure I would say that the road's "too narrow". The kerb does jut out a bit at the corner, but it's hardly unusual. It's just bad driving...
