(GONE) FREE Divani Sofa bed Navy Blue & Armchair TO COLLECT ASAP

Recommended Posts

Sofa-bed gone subject to collect tonight

Nice comfy armchair still available

Spring loaded Divani Sofa bed navy blue & armchair FREE to collect. L = 1900 x D =920

Sofa bed is 12 yrs, I've had it from new, it's naturally seen better days; faded a bit on the arms, (see pics) a few tiny holes on the seat cushions, not that you would notice unless you inspecting it closely, bed and mattress in good condition; works like new.

You will obviously need two people to shift and at least a transit size van, or on roof rack. I'm afraid I can't help as I have a spinal injury

Both have fire labels for health and safety

    • Apologies on the tardy reply, but thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions! Unfortunately I couldn't attend the recent EDF drinks because of work (I know right). But will absolutely keep eyes peeled for the next one and try and come down!
    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
