connorsc
Hello all,I'm going to have some family visiting London for my wedding in July and am hoping to find a flat or self-catering apartment in the area. My mother, father and three adult children all need a space.Putting them up in a hotel is going to get very pricey very quickly given the exchange rates, and finding a flat to rent would allow them to stay longer and meet my fiance, see our house, do some tourism, etc. Anyone have any ideas?THANK YOU in advance! amydown
Hi Caitlin,When in July and how long do you need it for? We're going on holiday for a week in July (3-bedroom house off Melbourne Grove/ Lordship Lane) so would be able to rent the house out?Amy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10838-accommodation-for-family-during-wedding-need-flatsself-catering/#findComment-314256 Share on other sites

sunbob
Hello ConnorscThe Queen's Hotel in Crystal Palace is nice and cheap (around ?30 per room per night). It's basic but ok if you just want somewhere to stay that's not expensive. When we got married we booked out the whole of the Uplands pub B&B (corner North Cross Rd and Uplands Rd) this costs more (60 or 70 per room) but made for a nice fun atmosphere and the landlady was very helpful, providing lots of sandwiches on the morning of the big day (or so I hear, I was the bride, so in glorious seclusion!) Ann
I booked rooms at the Queen's Hotel at Crystal Palace when I got married some years back and had done quite a local search at the time. It should be fine bearing in mind most will only be staying for a night or two.Have a lovely wedding!Ann Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10838-accommodation-for-family-during-wedding-need-flatsself-catering/#findComment-314400 Share on other sites
