Hi there,

I live in Ferris Road, and have noticed that we don't seem to have all of the recycling bags/bins that we should have, and I am not sure whether we put our stuff in the correct places! Before I contact the council I wanted to check if anyone knows what we should have, I have been on the website, but I can't seem to find anything concise and understandable!

Currently we have a large green wheely bin (which we put general non recyclable waste in) and then we have a blue plastic box and another one (which I think may be a dark green) we use these and put anything recyclable in. There seems to be some sign of writing on these boxes, which may have stated at some point what each is for!

Also, we are planning to have a big garden clear out so wondered what we are meant to do with garden waste?!

I don't want to be labelled an uncaring ED resident!

Thanks for your help,

Abi

Hi Abi,

I live on Ferris Road too.

You should have a grey and green wheelie bin and a blue recycling box with a divider.

The grey bin is for general waste, the green is for garden waste. Think you need green binbags too.

The blue is for recycling. One side should be used for paper and card. The other for glass, tins and plastic.

Cheers,

P.

They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
