Wanted: Holiday cottage to let on North Cornwall/North Devon Coast

I'm after renting a cottage in the Bude/Ilfracombe/Bideford area over the Bank Holiday weekend at the start of May (Saturday - Monday)...something quaint and cosy by the sea for two. Any recommendations??

I am from the West Country and like to rent properties when I visit rather than stay with family. I always use Helpful Holidays based in Chagford for lovely affordable holiday cottages/barns.

You can google them very easily and their website is easy to use and very informative with great photos so you always know what what to expect upon arrival.

We stayed here last summer.

It's by no means a luxury cottage but it was clean, really cosy and had a great view. The owners live in the adjacent property and were very welcoming too.

Other recommendations:

A trip to Lynton/Lynmouth- do the stroll up to Watersmeet- there's a beautiful small NT house with a cafe at the end

The Grampus Inn, Lee (honestly the best cream teas/cakes)
