mockney piers
I'm surprised the tories didn't just draft in a random local celeb a la the Ealing by-election.Who do you think might just swing the vote their way?David Beckham? Kate Moss? Jonathan Woss? Lily Allen? Jade? James Nesbitt? Hazel Blears? Jah Lush
Ah! but you see Mockney, Buffoon Boris is already a local celeb isn't he. He certainly has a celebrity status of sorts that's for sure. TV & radio appearances, celebrity football matches..blah blah blah. Ant
Maybe they need some sort of Frankenstein's celebrity: Kate Moss's legs, Woss's wit, Jade's tits, Nesbitts bits, Blears' ears... James
I'm always suspicious of people who moan about empty buses clogging up the system. I don't see all these empty buses - maybe I am not looking in the right places or something??? in any case I would rather have more frequent buses that can be relied upon - albeit with a few surplus ones running now and again - than go the Tory route of letting decent public transport go the way of the Dodo, forcing everyone back into their cars. Agree with Sean, Bob and others that the buses have obviously improved since Ken. Even the trains seem to be getting a bit better too since the renationalisation of Railtrack - its privatisation under the Tories was a total farce & disgrace which Boris was no doubt in favour of (all it did was line shareholders pockets). ChavWivaLawDegree
Or Kate Moss's wit, Woss's tits, Jade's legs, Nesbitt's ears and Blears' personality. You have just described Boris! Keef
Oh be fair, he hos got quite a wit! I wouldn't vote for him, but I think he's hilarious, and much more honest about what he is than the slimey David Cameron. James
It has come to something when the best the Tories can muster is an affable, eccentric clown with a tendency for making Prince Philip-style faux pas (ask the people of Liverpool) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1095-boris-for-mayor/page/3/#findComment-28807 Share on other sites
Bleep
The thing about Ken is that the Evening Standard absolutely hates him, which only helps him because that particular newspaper is abhorrent. Jah Lush
Yes Bleep, same owners as the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers, peddlers of poisoned right wing bigotry. Come to think of it though wasn't Boorish Johnson sacked from The Times for making things up. The man can't be trusted. ChavWivaLawDegree
Haha - I wasn't aware that you you could be sacked from any newspaper for making things up, I thought lying was part of their contracts of employment!
