Parking Info wanted for Deptford

Don't know if this is the right place to put this but I need to go to Deptford High Street and wanted to know if anyone knew what the parking restrictions are around there/or somewhere to park. I need to go to the end nearest New Cross. Thanks.

I'd try and park somewhere around the back of Addy & Stanhope school (more or less opposite the end of the high st that you want).

there are parking bays (free parking for a short period of time- i think 30 mins) on the high street on mon, tues, thurs, fri and sun (i.e. when market is closed) there is also a large car park behind the swimming pool wavelengths and also a car park on frankham street -all of these areas are half a minute walk to the market and high st

Thanks for your responses. It is hellish driving around there. This is what I did. Drove up Blackheath Road and parked in the Wickes and Pets at Home Car Park. Then walked down. You get 2 hours parking there. I am sure you could park longer as I think the tickets you could be issued with are not enforceable. I did buy stuff in Pets at Home though.......

Bil - isn't the parking by wavelengths now closed? There's another NCT the other side of A2 which always has spaces.

cate - is driving that bad round there? Much better than around lordship lane ime.
