We really enjoyed bumps and babes on a Friday morning at st faiths just past north Dulwich station. Nice and small and friendly and you get tea made for you and biscuits! There aren't that many things suitable for really little ones...at 6 months we then did sing and sign and gymbabes (still do!).
Me and baby Verds liked Baby Sensory. Chee, who runs it, is really good with the babies and it's on at different times throughout the day so it fits in with naps. It's ?6 a class, but she does a free trial. It's songs, a bit of signing and a bit of waving things in their little faces.

Hi Clare,

I'm in your NCT group so you will have to figure out who I am, hehehe!!! We should have talked about this yesterday afternoon over our cake - we've just started Monkey Music at Goose Green and Sparkle Music at Barry Road church. Both very similar but W loves the singing and I get to learn new songs to sing with him at home - previously had to resort to Christmas carols as my repertoire was so limited! Sparkle music is on a Thursday morning at 10.40 and I think they still have spaces left if you fancy coming along. I can forward you the instructor's email or if you google it you will find her website. As you know we've also been to the Jelly Babies sessions at Peckham Pulse which is lovely at their age.

Ha, he's never been one to lay there in the pram- he normally ends up on my lap making eyes at the cutlery and boiling hot coffee and other things which pose a hazard. In fact, my NCT group has had to stop meeting in local cafes because all the babies want to be out crawing/rolling around on the floor. Hmm.

    • It's not really though, is it. It's practical.  At least we're allowed Christmas lights.

It was absolutely the most relaxed work I have ever had performed on the house!" – Alistair, Cambridge, July 2025 "Extremely friendly, polite and efficient" – Diane, Forest Hill, June 2025 We are always keen to chat through your floor insulation options and provide as much free advice as we can, as well as free quotes and surveys – so why not ask us today about what is possible to protect your floors from the cold ventilation air blowing underneath, keep your heat in and warm up your home? We use high-performance mineral wool slabs, never foam, for so many reasons: it is the ideal flexible material for the irregularities of old floors; is breathable, working with the way your floor has successfully performed for perhaps 100 years or more; can easily be removed to access pipes and cables; and is completely non-combustible. A local business based in Crystal Palace, we work extensively around Dulwich, Herne Hill, Forest Hill, Lewisham, Tooting, Balham and across the south East of England. Please ask us about your floor insulation options or for local project case studies today! • I would recommend the Dulwich Test and Service centre that used to be in Hindemanns road and then moved to the little Trading Estate off Tyrrel Road. I've used them very happily for nearly 40 years. Paul and Reg Shires.
    • Such a shame as Dells is fantastic - a decent local business providing a great service to residents.
