Probably too long ago and too far away, but I never heard if this cat was ever found:

Lost Black Cat - Grove Park/Ivanhoe rd

Posted by Brulysses 27 December, 2015 10:03

HI,

Our big, black, male cat called Cosmo/Coz(no collar but chipped to Celia Hammond, Lewisham)went missing on the afternoon of the 23rd, he likes a wander but this is way out of character as he loves his food. He's a very friendly, talkative cat, a real character and we miss him terribly. If you've seen anything that might help please let me know on 07809640218 and if you have a garden shed or glasshouse, please have a check.

Thank you, Bruce + Bronwen

There is a black cat - smallish and I think a male hanging around Adys road near St John's church / GG playground.

It is very friendly and looks well but last night it looked lost - was following different people for a while and then coming back to stand by the church.

He was out again this evening in GG playground and my son shared some (most) of his chicken. He seemed very hungry.

He didn't have a collar and could just be a super friendly / greedy cat but if anyone is missing a cat of this description it would be worth going to have a look.

I like cats, in spite of its colour))) Do you know that black cats can be boys or girls, but more are male than female?

I live opposite St John's church and I think I know the cat you mean as it is often in my garden or trying to steals chicken off my counter if it wanders in. It always appears well fed/looked after and had a collar on for a day once. It is a small black cat - seems quite young and yes - very fearless. It always seems to be fed and well looked after. I am sure it has an owner nearby and do not think it is a stray at all.

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you.
