Louisa
Ok going above and beyond all that has/is going on right now. The next key question is, which of the candidates for PM would be best to send to Brussels to negotiate our corner over exit talks? A few names are in the mix right now, some remainers some leavers some fence sitters. A few people inside the Tory party have already said only a brexit supporter can really front out negotiating hand, is that the right thing though? Who is the most cool, professional and diplomatic out of all potential and declared candidates? Louisa. JoeLeg
Teresa May, I would say. She's the most likely to keep a level head, as although she was a Remain supporter she stayed out of the campaign largely, and thus in untouched by any gaffes or 'mis-speaking'. I'm no fan of hers, but I think she's probably the most likely to stay pragmatic.I don't think she'll be elected though. I think it'll be Boris and who knows where that will lead? Though better him than Liam Fox or Jeremy Hunt. edcam
Theresa May. She's placed away from the lies of the Leave campaign and although I don't agree with much of what she believes, compared to the others, especially Gove, she has integrity. Henry_17
Dianne Abbot. She would nestle up to them closely on the negotiating sofa until they submitted due to the awkwardness.
