Radio London talk shows (and I'm sure those on other stations) have been discussing very little but Brexit aftermath in the last ten days. Perhaps you could call in to raise awareness of the petition that way?

Hi Muffin - I only record the UK signatories & take a reading every three hours. End of my day is 00:40

Reading at 21:40 was 6,073 currently 6,352

I'm assuming foreign IP addresses will be filtered out as we need to ensure that we are talking about a qualified population of signatories.


Scroll down to just under the deadline date to [Get petition data (json format)] and find the GB data - that will give it to you.

Got it! Thank you! I think they might be okay, depending on what they consider "fraudulent".


If you go to the second EU referendum, they say there are 77k fraudulent signatures, I'm assuming that's duplicate people :S

I presume they are using some form of SQL database & using .json to migrate the data to the web in HTML format. SQL will filter out duplicate email addresses. I presume that they will allow a number of signatories from the same IP address/post code - a family or numbers of workers from the same company.

Yes. if they had only signed the petition they wouldn't have had to charge all those lovely fees.

One of the firms involved is *allegedly* a property website that rhymes with hoopla - which is owned by your favourite, Daily Mail....

The number of signatories signing up has slowed somewhat but if it keeps up at the slower rate of yesterday & today it could reach 100,000 by 18th July - there might be a further falling off but hopefully it will reach the 100,000 point by the end of the month. Currently it stands at 13,059 UK based signatures up from 10,434 at 6:40 yesterday.


Can we all refresh our sharing & linking; contact all the people previously and ask them to make a fresh push.

Hi, they've come back with a response to the second referendum petition. So, with that in mind, I think it's more important than ever to sign this, to show per constituency to our MPs that we are affected by this decision.


If you haven't signed and feel our voices need to be heard in whichever step they take, please sign and it would be amazing to share - ;)

      Assistance Dogs - Autism: any experiences?

      https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.

      Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal.       Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
