Aria was super friendly and approachable. He was able to come see us the very next day to fix our blocked bath (culprit being a plastic toy fish stuck way down the pipe!). Quickly sorted and he was able to advise on some other plumbing questions and issues. Would recommend to anyone.

Aria and Dan were again amazing in their quick response to my problem (leaking toilet flush), their excellent workmanship and super politeness.  I have used them several times before and am always impressed. Last but not least,  they charge completely honestly.  Thank you!

Aria has been great with fitting a new shower and rearranging some pipe work for us. He was quick, approachable and even highlighted that the shower manufacturer offered a cheap installation (we didn’t do this in the end as needed something else done as well). He was able to complete the work soon after his initial visit. Would recommend!

Aria did an excellent job fixing my leaky loo and I can highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, friendly, experienced and honest. He could have charged me a lot more, but didn't. He also talked me through everything. He came round at short notice and showed me how to turn off the water flow to the toilet so I didn't waste any more water before he could fit the new parts. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Aria and his team have done a number of different jobs for us ranging from a new shower to stopping a dripping tap. We have always found them professional and helpful.

As a landlord I'm really grateful that I can trust Aria to liaise with tenants and get the job done.

Thanks Aria!

Another recommendation for Aria and AFE Plumbing.

We discovered on a Saturday morning (June 2024) that something in the bathroom was leaking into the kitchen below, including into a light fitting, so not ideal timing nor the best location for water to end up. Getting hold of a plumber on a Saturday morning can be tricky...

Aria was however highly responsive, punctual, polite and tidy. And crucially he got the job done with minimal fuss.

Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

Thanks

I can definitely recommend AFE Plumbing services. i had a leaking tap in the kitchen and Aria came out the next morning to identify the problem and bring a new tap to replace the old tap and get it all working very quickly. Aria is a very helpful individual who will always do his best to solve a problem for you.

Another thumbs up for Aria and AFE Plumbing Services. He came and replaced a really old tap that was badly corroded and dripping uncontrollably. Also solved another leak, replacing parts within minutes and working in a very confined space.

Excellent communication, very efficient, punctual, nice to have around and great at his job. Also very reasonable rates and he stuck to his quote, despite the job being somewhat more complex than he thought it would be. I'd definitely call on him again and can thoroughly recommend his services.

Following recommendations on the forum I got Aria round. We had a WC issue, he analysed the situation and offered several solutions. The work was completed quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. I will be using him again and would recommend him.

Also would like to highly recommend Aria.   He efficiently diagnosed and repaired a leaking pipe under my living room floor and also gave me some advice on a broken shower, even calling the manufacturers to discuss options with them. He is responsive, prompt and reasonable prices as well as being an excellent plumber. Also polite and friendly and nice to have around.

We had a small kitchen plumbing issue but also a deadline as we were going away and Aria came over immediately to see what was needed, gave a more than fair quote and was back to do the job a few days later. The invoice was actually less than quoted. Speedy, polite and professional as always. Cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Aria did an absolutely tremendous job tiling and fitting our bathroom at a very reasonable rate. He has a fantastic can-do attitude. He was very patient when we changed our mind about the tiling halfway through the job and took care every step of the way to make sure we were happy. The guys he works with are all really lovely people too. Couldn't have been a more positive experience and very happy indeed with the work. Five star plus for AFE Plumbing.

Aria recently did two significant pieces of work for us, as well as some smaller-scale fixes.

Firstly, we discovered a major leak beneath our shower, that needed to be urgently addressed.  Aria responded quickly, removed the shower, identified and stopped the leak very quickly, repaired the damage and installed a new shower, all in under two weeks.  We were grateful that he could respond so quickly, and - with his team - address the problem.

A few weeks later he installed a new sink unit in our bedroom, working with rather old-fashioned pipework. This was tricky to solve but we're happy with the result.
In each case, Aria listened to what we wanted, and responded helpfully - explaining any challenges and difficulties, and what the options were.  He was helpful, and charged fairly.

hi everyone! just wanted to drop a quick note to add to the great recommendations for Aria’s work. I had a leaky sink and he’s been very responsive, came in the next day and quickly fixed it for a reasonable price, while explaining what he was doing throughout. highly recommended 👌

    • And no queues at 1130 yesterday. Maybe everyone's had enough and switched to the Yodel and Evri app.
    • Hi there guys, I hope you're well.  I've recently done a term of Dance Yourself Fit, which began with a class at the Harris Girls Academy on the Nunhead side of the Rye, then transferred to the Charter School for Girls up by the old ED hospital. It's been so good and all the women attending have loved it too, but due to exams being on next term the classes are being discontinued in East Dulwich, much to our disappointment. They're moving them to Streatham, but that is not convenient for me and many of the others. This is a link to their site in case anyone is interested though: https://www.danceyourselffit.com I'm now looking for a replacement class that's not too expensive, keeps me moving energetically for an hour and is local and hopefully less than a tenner per lesson (this was about £72 for 8 classes I think?). Does anyone know of anything? I'm also looking for low-cost pilates classes to join too, if anyone has any recommendations for those too? Very best,  Eleanor  Also, just to add, what's been so nice is that it HASN'T been in a gym with lots of lively young lithe gazelle like creatures hopping about. It's been extremely inclusive for women of all sizes and shapes and really nice that it's been in schools not gyms. Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed!
    • I'd also like to highly recommend Niko. He just replaced the extraction fan in our bathroom, having previously installed a new tap for us. Fast, professional and a really great guy.
    • Agree with this. He's stood down from his role in Cabinet having left the Party, but he was elected as a representative of all the constituents in his ward and logic suggests that he should continue to represent them as a councillor for his remaining 3 months. He might wish to stand again, as a Green, in that ward (if he's chosen) and hope that personal loyalty to him might transfer, but that's now the call of his (new) party and him. He will have to balance that with a view about how many of his Labour supporters will feel sufficiently betrayed to continue to support Labour. I suspect, I may be wrong, that he will not have a cabinet position open to him after May (unless the Greens sweep in locally) so presumably he will have to consider his next career move, and whether that's back to full-time primary teaching.
