gez
thought this might interest all dulwich musicians, now that the dulwich music shop is closing down do you know that there is a great little music shop tucked away in crystal palace ? it is at the bottom of haynes lane then turn left and it is outside antenna studios. it is called the secret guitar shop and music emporium, there is a website and it is well worth a visit. Keef
Nice guys in there, I used to get strings and stuff when I rehearsed at Antenna. Not sure I'd go tere if I was actually looking to buy a guitar, but handy for strings & leads. ClareP
Don't forget that South London Music is very much alive and kicking with a shop near East Dulwich Station. It stocks a full range of guitar strings and accessories (not to mention huge volumes of sheet music, accessories for other instruments and novelties). It also has a good range of guitars, folk instruments, ukuleles etc. Service is always helpful and informed.Rather closer than Crystal Palace too... Jah Lush
Usually, yes but to get a really good one and not a little kiddie one they'll be costing quite a bit more I think. I should really pop in and have a look for myself. Just being a bit of lazy get. eater81
You wouldn't happen to be the owner of the secret guitar shop and music emporium would you gez?! The music shop in Brixton on Coldharbour lane has as much stock as the Charring Cross road shops, but is a bit cheaper.
