And how would one prove that a vendors fruit and veg came from said allotment? And would the "Allotment Police" really be stalking market stalls to find out?!

If you have items surplus to requirements at the end of the season who bloody cares!? Really, cut the crap and just sell the things if you want to.

Thats all very well edkiwi but allotment owners are bound by their contracts, which states they cannot sell from the allotment,if they can do it and get it away with it,then good luck.Allotments have managers who funnily enough use local markets to buy from themselves, and i heard a story that someone was selling their produce at bootfairs, who got caught and lost the allotment.Serious stuff

    • They are. We are back to the same construction racket 8am-8pm every day for the whole of this week. The wall is one of the last things to come down, probably on Saturday. Then we can see how much of a mess they've made, especially the quantity of non-biodegradeable litter trampled into the earth. GALA 2025 - Production Schedule.pdf

    • It is intimidating looking through the book sections now.  I sometimes wonder if they're stocking bookshops' remainders. OTOH, when I put  some books out in a cardboard box for taking, it was  encouraging to see that a fair proportion of those taken were aged hardbacks.
