Take time out to watch Flog It and Dickinson's Real Deal, there are wasters and nogoodniks on there selling items that have been in their families for generations.

On the spurious grounds that 'It's just sitting in a cupboard', 'none of my kids want it' or 'I'd like it to go to someone who might appreciate it more and give it a good home'.

The lying greedy graspers. And some of them only realise 40 or 50 quid for their heirlooms.

Work colleagues? Who cares?

Sell the thing and spend the money in Chener Books.

It'll do some good there.

Get rid of it before it turns into moth food,or send it to the charity shop,or rag shop,where it will be turned into something else. Or do what you like, its yours. Dont worry yourself silly they probably would laugh, knowing the state youve got yourself in. Go for it,

    • I mean if its going on for a long time I would think just having a talk to them over coffee would help.seems like they are freehold owners if they've been living there for a long time so i would advise not reporting them to the police since you will be stuck with them for a long time to come
