Where to buy seabass

I would like to buy 3 seabass fish, ideally fishmongers in ed or peckham that would offer the value that supermarkets cant..

Know anywhere nearby?

Sainsbury's wet fish counter do sell whole seabass - at a not unreasonable price - otherwise Moxon's in LL or Soper's in Nunhead.

See Woo supermarket on the Greenwich peninsula. Ridiculously cheap and fresh.

Brixton market.... One place I get my fresh fish is the best!

They clean the fish properly too

Moxon's is v good, but do find it a bit expensive - so tend to use Sopers instead.

Could also try Wing Tai in Peckham, especially if you want to buy a little later in the evening. See Woo in North Greenwich is fantastic for fish and seafood, but it's a bit of a nasty drive if you don't go early.

I'd just go to Sopers or Moxons with the aim of sea bass and if they haven't got it ask for whatever's nice and new and fresh, being open to the fact you might end up with something else.
