Stroller Recommendation Please

Hi

We are off on our fist summer holiday with our 14 month old and need a good stroller recommendation.

Is the Maclaren still the one to get?

What should I be looking for when looking for one?

any tips/advice greatly appreciated

We use a baby zen yoyo for travelling, the yoya is a cheaper version also with reasonable reviews. Reasonable sunshade, will go into overhead locker on a plane so can be used as carry on and my large 4 year old still fits in it at a push. I never got on very well with maclarens but I know they remain popular.

We debated long on this - we have 2 kids so tried a double but it was too wide for doors in our house so it went back. Decided on 2 single "holiday" buggies as once older child walking more we'll only need one buggy.

As a muslin doesn't really work that well (and often hangs down on child's face/tickles arms etc). I am so glad we got this so baby is protected from the sun on holiday. It's lightweight and folds down small.

we use a yoyo, and i think the babyjogger travel buggy gets really good reviews too.

Maclarens are great, easy and fold well - but if you have (or may have) more than 1 child, they are a pain to push one handed. If you do get one go for the quest or lighter as a travel option.
