Now, correct me if I am mistaken (am 100% certain I am not:))), aren't there now two outstanding matters which remain to be resolved?

1. Mr. Honaloochie Boogie was to eat his own head were "Milfwall" not selected as winner.

2. In a similar vein, that incorrigible computer HAL9000 was to consume Brendan's hat.

*alerts Interpol*

I think the...ahem...event should take place on Peckham Rye...perhaps at Katie1997's picnic.

I think we should sell tickets...the money could be used for things like packs of frozen peas, morphine, artificial limbs, heart and lung transplants...

What do people think?

I think thats a FAB idea. Could I please have some VIP tickets for the head/hat-eating event?

I hope the humble frozen pea can be found in ED if thats what you're raising the money for ;-)

I thank you Katie1997 (aka Ms. Katharina Van Der Wotsit) - you are a good sport. Of course VIP tickets shall be despatched to you forthwith - I am certain DJKQ (aka "the Queen") will have no problem with that (*clicks fingers and signals to butler*). We shall ensure you have the best ring-side seats available.

Yours,

Esme xx

How on earth did I miss this? The audacity!

I cycle...hope that answers your question.

*hopes Narnia will never bump into Lordmuck who might spill the beans over the 2 occasions - within a period of 2 weeks - when ?800's worth of damage was caused to his then brand new car when wife attempted to get it out of an awkward spot. Wife now banned from taking car to that location.:-$*

I was being metaphorical, or was it metaphysical.

Or I was pissed and quoting Dickens.

It was definitely one of those.

*considers Mr. Boogie's defence and decides to allow it on the ground of previous injustice*

Which hat are you going to be wanting?

Only I?ve just got a few and I?m pretty attached to the tweed flat cap, the canvas cricket hat is useful for days out in the sun, the grey fedora goes very well with my grey slim fit 3 piece and the Powell Peralta ?ripper? 1980s reissue mesh-back baseball cap is, well it's a, Powell Peralta ?ripper? 1980s reissue mesh-back baseball cap so you?re not getting your hands on that. Not no fucking ways china.

    • that is one cliche-ridden post headnun    it doesn’t mean a sack of beans in the real world  “old fashioned voters” meaning the ones dragging the country down this last 15 years just to laugh at the libs tears. Well done all  I’m not looking back at all. This is not a post Europe world in any sense. There are forces bigger than Europe but uk would be better aligning with Europe against, say, china, the pretending we live in some post Europe world.    and in case you hadn’t noticed, whoever you vote for, there are a LOT of ignorant racists feeling very happy with their resurgence - I would fight against them if I were you
    • No they aren't. You're coming across as a smug, superior liberal, and that's what old fashioned voters (labour, Cons and now Reform) hate. That 'the deplorables' 'they're all ignorant racists' line is what's driving people away from the traditional parties and towards Reform.  You're as guilty of looking back as Labour. This is a new, post-europe world and we all need to come to terms with that, make do with what we have, and move forward.
    • I have sympathy with any voter, anyone, who having witnessed the last 14 years and then Labour in the last year and wonders just how can things be this bad  unless a) they voted for brexit b) voted Tory after 2010 c) is thinking of voting reform  because anyone who thinks reform won’t make things a thousand times worse after voting for the previous?  It is they who are the problem.  They are the reason the country is in the doldrums with an embarrassingly-timid Labour government  Specifically Chris mason - a not very bright right leaning stooge - large part of why bbc news has become grok-level slop
    • In what way? Maybe it just felt more intelligent and considered coming directly after Question Time, which was a barely watchable bun fight.
