Great result for Spurs last night. I'm very pleased with our performance. Paul Robinson made a couple of superb saves to keep his second clean sheet in a row and his confidence is definitely returning. Overall we were the better team even though we were down to ten men after 20 minutes after another very poor refereeing decision.

I thought Arsenal's young squad were excellent in their grit and determination to pick up a win at Blackburn too and I want them in the semis please and Arsene Wenger can pick who he likes.

Having said that I think our recent improvement despite quite a few injuries in the squad can be measured by our performance against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this coming weekend, which I feel will be our toughest game so far this season.

Usually no a Lampard fan at all, but thought he was very nice after the match about Crouch's sendin off.

He just went insane for a second as far as I'm concerned, it was a ludicrous "tackle"!

Oh well, not that bothered. Saw the Arsenal goals on telly lst night, those kids can play!

I would simply say this, don't hold your breath!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crouch's "tackle" was appalling but he'd been fouled twice from behind by Mikel in the build up to it and was obviously incensed. If the ref had spotted Mikel's infringements in the first place it wouldn't have happened. Still no excuse for such an appalling lunge though.

Atila, I agree that Malbranque's tackle was far worse than Zakora's innocous challenge and was a sending off rather than a booking. It hasn't been a good week for our refs but I do think that Howard Webb is the best this country has to offer and fully deserves his call up to Euros.

I'm very happy with the draw against Arsenal in the semis but I certainly do not want a repeat of the aggregate score from last year. I fully expect us to do better this time around, no matter what team Arsene Wenger decides to pick.

And as for the weekend... bring it on.

I don't think so. I think we'll be lucky to get a top six considering the bad start we've had. At the moment I'm just looking for continued improvement.

Milan seems to be the town to visit... Would say the gunners have the hardest draw, and don't dare pretend you're happy with it. Still, I think over the 2 legs they can do it.

Don't hold out much hope for Celtic against Barca!

Arsenal 2 - 2 Tottenham

Aston Villa 2 - 1 Man. City

Bolton 1 - 0 Birmingham

Fulham 1 - 2 Wigan

Liverpool 3 - 2 Portsmouth

Middlesbrough 1 - 2 West Ham

Reading 2 - 0 Sunderland

Man. United 2 - 1 Everton

Newcastle 2 - 1 Derby

Blackburn 1 - 2 Chelsea

The way we are playing at the moment teams should be afraid of us and not the other way around. AC have only one outstanding player, namely KAKA, but on his own against the might of the Arse he has little chance to shine. Italian opposition have not done well against us over the years and that form will continue. AC haven't exactly set Serie A alight with Kaka this season so bring 'em on!!! If we stay injury free, AC will be fearing us, trust me.

To be honest, I don't think any team at this stage will be scared of any other team. I shall, believe it or not, be cheering the arse on in this round, I shall even be hoping for Chelsea, Man U, and Celtic to come through.

I have to admit, I don't know too much about Inter at the moment, but when it comes to Europe, I always feel reasonably confident with Rafa, he just seems to get it right in this competition...

Man U and Chelsea have it easy!

Speaking the truth I call it, I really don't think we should fear anyone, and I mean anyone. Manure are a better team than AC and they couldn't beat us. So bring on the ageing AC Milan.

    • A shout out for Mark, owner of Pure Plumbers. 07970 971510 They're well established in the Sevenoaks area, but have recently started doing more work in SE London.  Did some v quick and efficient bathroom and boiler fixes for me; have also seen some of the bathrooms he's built, which have a nice attention to detail. • Totally agree regarding not supporting chains. Gail’s was fine but last time I went in Feb this year, actually walked out Fayetteville looking at menu and waiting 15 minutes to even get glass of water and not busy at all. Staff gone down hill - sooner it goes the better… Always prefer to support non chains - so many lovely places with good food to choose from with pleasant staff who know about customer service and sadly, non English which says a lot for our culture, pubs are also becoming abit of a hit and miss affair but maybe just unlucky. At the end of the day all about the chef. Still abit unclear where new place is located - is it down the road from Goose Green where parade of shops are before Peckham Rye?
    • Surely only where the local businesses offer clear advantages, otherwise you are rewarding what should be failure. I want to be served by a better bakery than Gail's, not a worse but local independent one. Certainly give a local independent some time to get the offer right, but don't buy goods which are worse and or more expensive just because the outlet isn't a chain.
    • Let’s just boycott all chains in favour of local businesses.  Places like Gail’s popping up everywhere has a very damaging impact on small businesses. It’s just the same as the new empanadas place but on a bigger scale. I’ll say it a million times more, we hold the power with our choices. Let’s use our power to look after ourselves and our environment (which includes small local family businesses). And yes, I also love Chacarero.
