You need a balance there. I agree that he is a nasty, horrible man. However, he is a good if not great manager.

There is too much money in the game these days, so the richer clubs will always do better than the Chaltons... You still need to be a decent manager to make it all work though.

He's still a c**t though!

what, and arsehole wanker is an angel.

I wondered when you'd show up. Compared to your beloved red nosed cave dwelling foul mouthed toss pot, yeah, he is. Oh and he can string a coherent sentence together in several lanuages, unlike Fergusmoan, who can only speak one lanuage, and that is one that is incomprensible to most of us. To get round that he sends his number two out to speak to the BBC. Oh sorry, I forgot, that's because they accused him of wrong doing so he threw his toys out of the pram and refuses to speak to them. What an enlightened attitude. I can't help but despise him , put simply, because he deserves it.

Dear me, I did strike a nerve didn't I? I thought Fergusmoan and his followers were good at mind games. It is obvious I was mistaken. I notice you didn't direct your remarks to Keef, who also agrees Fergusmoan is a James Hunt.

I just spotted that 'Arsehole wanker' comment. Really spadetown, that's needlessly offensive. Wenger conducts himself with a dignity which Fergusen can't even come close to. Having constructed a team that play in a style Fergie now copies, being a brilliant spotter of talent and a great man-manager the insults sound rather desperate. Your insults prove why Arsenal are a better team and club whoever wins the league - life's about how you conduct yourself as well as how much you win.

Just as with big Sam, Fergie should be grown up enough to forgive the BBC for reporting the truth (how rude of them!). He's a good manager alright but at a club with very deep pockets (Veron for ?26m!!!!) With that kind of money I'd be a good manager with a far nicer nose, less chewing gum and honest children.

ap

Ashley Cole outed in the Sun today as a love-rat. Generally I would say that it is an invasion of privacy blah blah - but in this instance I am a happy man. Never enjoyed a game more than Arsenal Chelsea on 16/12 - he is a true example of why footballers have a bad name.

I think Alex Ferguson is a horrid man, Wenger has more manners. However, I think both are equally as ungracious.

They are both good managers though, and it's not like Arsenal are a poor club (though I do conceed that he gets great players from no where and makes them greater).

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
    • I had some time with him recently at the local neighbourhood forum and actually was pretty impressed by him, I think he's come a long way.
    • I cook at home - almost 95% of what we eat at home is cooked from scratch.  But eating out is more than just having dinner, it is socialising and doing something different. Also, sometimes it is nice to pay someone else to cook and clear up.
    • Yup Juan is amazing (and his partner can't remember her name!). Highly recommend the wine tastings.  Won't be going to the new chain.
