Amanda - thanks for the invite. Are kids allowed as well as the bumps? I have my 4 year old with me on Fridays until he starts school in Jan.

and big congrats to those who have already had their babies - I have no chance for an early one as have just been told by a midwife that 'the head is very high for 38 weeks'. Spicy curry on the menu now!

I had a baby boy on tuesday hooray! he was 5 days late, and it all happened within the space of 30 minutes!!! Waters broke 3.40, called hubby to come home with eldest son from swimming, had no contractions but a slight bit of pain in pelvis area, midwife said she would come and have a look as my waters appeared to be pale green, hubby home couple minutes before 4pm then midwife, baby born 7 minutes later at 4.07pm! So if I had of attempted getting upto kings I reckon I would have been one of those giving birth in a car stories too!

He's my 3rd baby so perhaps thats why he came so speedy! The other 2 labours were normal, so if i went for no 4 god knows how quick that would be ha ha!

i did my first antenatal class (NHS) last night - it was ace!

You doing home or King's? Please don't do a car outside King's!

nope.... really hoping something happens in next few days as would rather be spontaneous than induced on Tues!

Kings- hopefully in a bed or pool rather than the car park! Feeling fine just bored. even though you know first babies are usually

late you still half expect them to cone on the due date. Now where's that thread on avoiding induction. . . .

Fingers crossed for you buggie- you've done so well getting this far with your GD. You must be very disciplined!

Thank you Jollybaby ... think I've been really, really lucky - lost 1/2 stone in first few wks following diagnosis, and although bubs has doubled in size in last 12wks, I've not really put any wt on!

My theory is that this has helped the insulin regain some control naturally.

Obv don't want to be induced, but at the same time, it's nice to know that Tue things will start moving!

I know that two more autumn babies were born in the last two days, but I'll wait for their mummies to announce it :) I am due today but no signs as yet, fingers crossed please please please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
