I think the full joke is a man made of cork, with no arms and no legs.

But Bob has never renounced his legs or claimed to have been made of cork.

He did however claim that he has no arms. This is somewhat incongruous with his latest claim that he is a musician.

Anyway. In case you still haven't go it, the answer was supposed to be Bob.

Why SE5?

Because Cloak (I won't 'clear off' because i've spent sevreal hundred thousand pounds on buying a large property in this area.) would find it rather uncomplimentary.

I have good memory's of living in SE5 and my children were also born at KCH so no deliberate intention of dissing SE5. However since this tangential issue has been raised, both have their pro's and cons but out of choice I'd rather live in SE22 than SE5. My opinion based on my personal experience.

Why use postcodes if your not a postman?

The best place to live has to be somewhere close to the intersection of the postcodes SE22, SE5, and SE15 although I think that's in someone's back garden off Ivanhoe Road.

Houses near to that are sandwiched between the Bellenden and Camberwell Grove conservation areas and a short hop from Lordship Lane. Best of all worlds and the closest point in SE22 to decent transport links and central London.

I get the impression that Mockney lives in the Camberwell part of that area. Jammy gid.

Can anyone think of a good name for that district? CamPeckDul Intersect doesn't quite do it...

    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
    • Clicking on your name, I see you've made seven posts on here since you joined  around four years ago, and they've all been about local libraries. And none of the posts are  very pleasant. Care to share with the rest of us where  your particular interest in libraries comes from? Do you work in one of them?
    • Kam was with us last week to wallpaper a bedroom. He was a pleasure to deal with and did a fantastic job - very neat and matched the tricky pattern very well. Would certainly use again.
