Someone who turns up in a here stating his wife thinks KEEF is numpty and that he wants to know who the biggest sausage is, is in all probability a numpty and a sausage himself.

For me a numpty is someone who has misfortune befall them with no understanding of why or how to mitigate the problem.

A sauasge is a far more cheerful state of being, normally sounds best prefixed by 'you old', a term of pork endearment.

not expecting this to help but 'duck' when applied to people makes me feel wrong. my aunt and her over made-up hair face and having to kiss her cheek goodbye during death throes of bland family gatherings.

'goodbye ducky' she'd say brushing her pale and dusty side-of-face onto me. yuk etc.

oh, and the cloak eats numpty offal.

Five years of therapy for my paranoia down the drain .......it's back to the shrink - and the demon drink.

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
