I have an established Buddlier Tree that I no longer want as in building something in the space where the tree is. So it's for sale ?1300. Very pretty and attracts butterflies 😍

You can arrange someone to remove it and relocate it. Must be done this week.

Pm me for a photo.

2 years ago I literally tore a small branch from a buddleia growing in a garden in the west countryand stuck it in some gritty sand. It rooted and now it is massive. Yes it attracts bees and butterflies but needs keeping under control. ?1300? You are having a bubbly bath.

A Buddleia should be pruned back hard to within a foot or two of the ground every Jan/Feb, it seems harsh but it thrives on it and prevents it becoming too 'leggy'.

As for the OP and requesting ?1300 to remove it...comedy gold :)

It's only the common type you see on railway lines everywhere which is invasive, because it seeds everywhere.

And if left long enough, it will certainly resemble a very large tree even if not strictly a tree!

To the best of my knowledge none of the cultivars which you would buy in a garden centre are invasive.

Don't think so. The OP has posted on other threads about the work being done in her garden.

    • Occasionally when this happens, the estate agent is complicit. Had this happen to our neighbour and we later found that the house was bought by the sister of the estate agent at the reduced price. • Hello, I have a new boxed (unwanted gift) Tefal Secure 5 that you could have.  The model is P2500731 and is a few years old, just been sitting in a cupboard, but it hasn’t even been unpacked.  I think a new version is about £70 so you can have it for £25?  If interested, please let me know and I can drop off to you if you like as we are on Brixton Hill but pass through ED most days.  Best wishes, Alison
