Eeh, it's a bit dark over Will's mother's = gosh, those rainclouds over there look rather ominous. No idea who Will is or where his mother lives, or where that phrase came from.

Fuckbuckets. Just a general-purpose exclamation.

Cookwank - not mine of course but I love it just the same.

One from the Ant household, if someone's drifting about a bit bored/not sure what to do, the suggested course of action is always to: put you in a bag* and shake you up.

* sometimes a sack. for emphasis perhaps? dunno.

One that really made me spit my beer out when I first heard it (a few years back now)...

I was in the pub, and a male friend announced to everyone he was off for a slash. Female friend then piped up with "yeah I need to go and shake the lettuce" :-S

Have heard it several times since, and it still makes me laugh.

My favourite saying, which I say all the time is "Fu*k my old boots" when I'm exasperated or pissed with with someone or something. This particular expression usually fills the house when I'm (having a go at) doing the decorating or any DIY project!!!!!

Once said by a friend who went on a date with a particularily well endowed Bloke:

"He was a man hanging of a cock"

Also like to utter "I didn't know if I was going for a shite or a haircut" when a few too many Guiness have been consumed.

"I'd sooner nail my foreskin to the Eiffel Tower" if I dont particularily want to do something.

    • John recently skimmed the walls in our front room lounge, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and easy to work with.   He arrived on time each day and kept me updated on progress, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The quality of his plastering is smooth, even, and ready to paint with minimal prep. He takes real pride in his work.   John was also very tidy, laying down protective sheets and cleaning up thoroughly after the job was done. It’s clear he respects his clients’ homes, which I really appreciated.   On top of that, he’s friendly, approachable, and trustworthy someone you feel comfortable having in your home. His pricing was fair and transparent, with no unexpected costs.   Highly recommended if you're looking for a skilled and reliable plasterer. I’ll definitely be using him again for any future work.
    • You what???   Think you Should have gone to woodfalls 😁
    • Your second point contradicts your first (and previous post)
    • I'm guessing they're busy. I found out just now that the SNT has tracked down the kids who attacked my dog, had strong words with their parents, and the gang has now broken up. I got a lot of detail, which I won't go into here, but it sounds as if they were also quite compassionate towards some of the kids, some of whom may not have had the easiest of lives.  I know that those kids had nothing to do with the attack of the man in August and that they are also aware of the fireworks problem. Sounds like good community policing.
