Have you built a summer house?

We are looking to build a summer house, to give us a bit of extra play space. We've been looking to move from our two bed to a thre bed for a while, but haven't found anything that suits us - a three bed with a garden seems very hard to find. Do you actually use your summer house? As we've been in estate agent mode for a while - would this make our property more/ less attractive in the long run?

I doubt one would be viewed as much more than a shed unless you spent a lot more and got a garden office type thing that could be used year round.
