Like the first stage of a cake mix? Interesting.

At home we used to make a bowl of icing (butter, icing sugar and maybe cocoa powder) and eat that. Frankly the idea makes me heave now.

As a kid if there was no cake in the house I'd have a spoonful of porridge oats, immediately followed by a few raisins & sultanas and wash it down with milk, convincing myself this was essentially the same thing.

These days I could call it "deconstructed" I guess.

I have appalling table manners at home and wouldn't hesitate to lick the plate clean, but reusing teabags?!?! There's nothing worse than a weak cuppa.

My wife's brother - in his bachelor days - would sometimes order a couple of large pizzas from Pizza Hut, and it would last him a couple of days. He'd leave them on the side (unrefrigerated) and eat it cold.

Oh yeh, my mum did that.

But I wasn't allowed to eat raw sausages, because she claimed it would give me worms.

Back in 1969 I was on block release at Lewisham College Lewisham Way.

Opposite was a Cafe that did the most amazing Pasties with thick crusty pastry.. Lots of brown sauce.

They sold Dozens of them at break time.

One time I needed the loo which was outside in the yard. There was 2 Large dustbins full with empty Kit-e-Kat tins.

Never put off though..

Ah, but I love my tea sans milk and weak enough so you can see the china on the inside of the cup. Not keen on letting the Assam out.

Most prolific in posting about it, anyway, but quite a few others here seem more extreme. Don't think any of mine would raise much comment if someone else happened to walk in.

But what is strange is that he went in via the front door and reached in towards the rear. He then tilted the rear seat backrests forward so that he could reach right into the back. He did this rather than open a rear or the rear hatch. Go figure! It's my wife's car and she says she always, I RPT,  always locks it. Incidentally, our neighbour no longer locks his car because he has had a side window smashed twice now because of thieves breaking in.
