*Bob*
Concrete polishing. Floors, specifically. Anyone had it done? Got any recommendations for companies who do it? I'm looking for a smaller, local outfit rather than some monster uber-polishing giant who did Bluewater. Alec John Moore
The Polish builders we used recently are good with concrete. I could ask them. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12759-polish-my-concrete/#findComment-351999 Share on other sites

citizenED
After the concrete, the silverware, *Bob*? Then shining up the square plates. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12759-polish-my-concrete/#findComment-352032 Share on other sites
*Bob*
Come now, Ed. A diamond grinder would make a terrible mess of your square plates. My advice - apply Mr Sheen and buff with a lint-free cloth. red devil
What is the quality of the concrete in question? If it's bog standard off site-concrete, don't bother. But if it's no-fines concrete, now you're talking...mmmmm Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12759-polish-my-concrete/#findComment-352059 Share on other sites
Jah Lush
I remember my mother regularly polishing the concrete doorstep in a rather lovely maroon colour to our house in Dulwich Village when I was a kid. I'd loan her out to you *Bob* but she's been dead for 16 years. Dubbin and plenty of elbow grease. *Bob*
Are you sure she can't be coaxed out of retirement, Jah? It is for a good cause. I can loan you my Dad in return, if you like. He did a mean watercolour - though since being cremated the quality of his work has suffered somewhat. *Bob*
Well David, since almost all the 'ash' will be calcium (you mostly just get crushed bone back, so I'm told) there really wouldn't be much carbon-based material to draw with. But it's a lovely thought, David.
