I've been with Vodafone for over 12 years - you usually experience signal issues from the just past the plough then the harvester up to Forest hill and West Dulwich but often there is just enough of a signal to send a text message and if you're lucky to recieve anything back you might. Everywhere else is fine :)

I was on Vodafone, but the signal was terrible. I'd always have to stand in the middle of the road, or the end of the garden to be able to speak to anyone. Changed to O2 for this reason, and problem over.

I also had a Vodafone mobile dongle contract, but dumped it a few months ago owing to general uselessness of signal.

I'm at southern end of ED, as the land rises towards Overhill.

You are probably out of 'line-of-sight' of the Vod mast - that is a problem with ED - hills can cut signal - microwaves work best when there isn't intervening ground (i.e. hills) to dampen the signal. I always lose signal coming over the brow of Dog Kennel Hill, and again driving up Sydenham Hill.
I just had one of those online questionnaires when I was on my Vodafone website thing and marked them low for signal and personal customer care and they rang me and asked me why. Anyway during the call they told me there is to be a new mast around Lordship Lane (this may alreadynow be up) and also on Peckham Rye SE15 side (probably an old tree. Or the school, of course. Sorry, I meant 'Academy'!)

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
