Not so far above it as to 'not appear' on the show, thus endorsing 'said sh1te'.

I don't think you're likely to see eg Bowie etc on there anytime soon.

It might have been, but fortunately I have Sky+ and I could skip it. I *hate* that song sooo much. The lyrics redefine 'pointless whining'.

The results, to see who gets to cry this week as their 'careers' return to manning the till at Burger King. Or in the case of 'Bellamy', wondering which one will lose all their clothes for Nuts/Zoo first.

There should be an ad: 'Sky+ - turns the X-Factor results show into the five minutes of television it is supposed to be'.

This is a fucking joke, right?

She at least has been involved in the business all her life. You don't have to be a multi million album selling artist to know the business or even to be able to sing. However she does have a multi million album selling sister for the record.

After all, how many of you have ever sung in tune yet you feel qualified to know what this act ahould or shouldn't be doing. Simon Cowell on that level is less qualifed than her, and Louis just hasn't got a clue as series after series shows. It's just typical male bashing of the female Judges. She has a CV that more than qualifies her to mentor those acts.

And she is the only judge that always judges the vocal performance only when deciding which acts to vote off as well.

That's pants DJKQ.

This female judge in particular deserves bashing because this female judge sucks. I'm struggling to remember her ever - and I do mean 'ever' - managing any kind of response on XF worthy of interest (either technical or entertainment value). And no, "your pitching was a bit off" or "you nailed it" does not qualify.

Compare Nicole Scherzinger's brief spell on the show.. too good to last.

No - they need Dannii. They need her because she's boring. She's the boring one who sits between The Fool, The Pretty One and The Pantomime Villain.

Syco and Talkback, last time I checked are making millions of profit every year so they probably know better than you I think.

Having said that...what exactly would make someone qualified to judge music....given that it's all subjective in the end anyway, and that most people, with hearing can tell the difference between a good singer and a bad one.

Cowell is head of a sucessful music publishing company - what better qualification than that?

Dannii Minogue presented a children's variety show, acted in Home and Away, and followed it up with a string of minor hit singles. This somehow means she knows more about music and the music industry than Jay Kay?

I appreciate that you're sticking up for the women, and that's all well and good. But let's be honest with ourselves for a minute. The panel consists of two men who know the music industry, and two women who look the part, and are fairly well known.

Hang on...I am not declaring Dannii to be some great performing talent (and nor does she)...but she does know the business. You all conveniently forget that her sister is a mega star....you can't get closer to it than that. And yes JK has no versatility as a singer or song writer and only wears a hat because he's pig ugly. That's a very different thing to saying he doesn't know the business (which I haven't said) because he obviously does. One performs the other works behind the scenes...the two are different things, but both reap equal experience and knowledge.

    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.
    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff
