I think it's a reinforcement of the world she lives and works in.

But still someone answer the question...just what would qualify someone to judge music if, being head of a succesful music publishing company, being in one of the UK's most successful girl bands, having been a sucessful manager for several sucessful acts, and having worked in the music and tv industry since the age of doesn't qualify a person!

It's not judging music though is it? That's for A&R men, who make real decisions. This is PR - for the telly.

The 'music judging' comprises less than ten stock scripted lines.

This year's faves are:

"By any standards, that was world class"

"I just didn't get it"

"You're pitching was a bit off" ('Pitching..?!' wtf?)

"I don't think you get enough appreciation"

"You're a tryer"

("Nailed it" has, of course, been banned following overuse last series)

It was metaphorical waynetta, and in irony to his comment that he'd shag both of them (Cheryl and Dannii) and that's all they're good for. He deserves whatever anyone says in response to that - he brings it on himself, whereas the non consenting sujects of the photos you posted as 'mingers' didn't deserve the humiliation they might have felt at your use of their images in your 'mingers' thread.

It's not a like for like analogy I'm afraid.

Revenue from record sales?

Oh yeah.. that latter half of the 20th century phenomenon. I remember now.

if that's the case then they need new scriptwriters - every week is the same...

"You look like a popstar, you sound like a popstar.."

"You absolutely nailed it"

"You made that song your own"

"You're out of your comfort zone"

"You gave me goosebumps"

ENOUGH ALREADY!

(Paije to win!!)

Actually, he made a lot of his wealth in the music business before the X-Factor/Pop Idol shows started. The talent shows just allowed him to multiply his wealth and his profile quite considerably.

    • We've lost our beautiful indoor cat who darted out of a window when we weren't looking. We are very worried about him in this extreme heat and with a thick fur coat. He is a big Siberian Forest cat with no street awareness, so please please share and please let us know if you see him. Thank you!
    • Yes, I have. We have gone fruit (seed/nut and mushroom) foraging in and out of London. I'll just recommend a couple of places I've found most rewarding. Wormwood Scrubs: you'll find blackberries, plums, sloes and apple trees. Holmewood (train journey, then either bike ride/cab to the top of the hill or a very long walk): bilberries galore! Be prepared to spend a few hours picking. It's a lovely area to explore and I am sure there are other wild fruits (I've only been twice due to the distance).
    • Had a green woodpecker visit our back garden this morning. Appeared to be eating ants or ant larvae.
    • any colour,  i'll just spray it black anyway. gimme a shout if you have one going. cheers   Niall
