Start date: 24 October 2016

End date: 11 December 2016

The Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has published a new vision for London: A City for All Londoners.

This document outlines the capital?s top challenges and opportunities across priority policy areas, as well as the changes that City Hall wants to deliver over the next four years.

We want people to tell us what they think about this document. So, over the next few weeks, we're inviting stakeholders, community and voluntary organisations, and Londoners to take part in workshops and discussions to shape City Hall policy.

There are three stages of consultation, outlined below. You can also tell us what you think throughout this process (from now until 11 December) by emailing [email protected].

.

Making sure ALL council tax is paid in would be a start....council tax arrears- then maybe councils might be able to afford to maintain services instead of blaming central government for shortfalls. All this posturing is a big waste of money- consultations ffs- the only beneficiaries are the consultants!

I know! That's dedicated work-avoidance for you!

In my defence I didn't start off counting until I got a few pages in and noticed I had seen Sadiq several times in different poses - Smiling Sadiq, Authoritative Sadiq, Concerned Sadiq, Happy Sadiq, Laughing Sadiq, In-charge Sadiq, etc.

I do think he missed an opportunity though - no Holding a Baby Sadiq pic.

Just the 3 involving a bus. Two of him stood in front of a bus brandishing a 2 journeys for the price of 1 leaflet and one of him on a bus brandishing an Oyster card.

You are correct about his Dad - as Sadiq explains in his Foreword to the brochure, his dad was indeed a bus driver in London.

Yes, I think I vaguely recall a rumour along those lines. I guess he doesn't like to talk about his background much.

Given he mentions it the forward of the brochure, saying he doesn't like to talk about it seems a bit off the mark...

    • Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road.  The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday!  Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning.  A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.
    • Paul was great for us - came round at an ungodly hour of the day at short notice to fix a problem. Very nice bloke too
