Hi guys!

Sunny intervals and 12C tomorrow.... it doesn't get any better than that!

The 5Km is signed, sealed and ready to go! Jan was the most prefered feedback, and the 21st Jan was the best date for St Christophers Hospice. So here it is:

FREE! 3Km & 5Km walk & Jog - To raise awareness for St Christophers Hospice

* You can walk it, jog it, or Jalk it!

* We can have upto 100 participants (adults), your children can take part too!

* Please bring your family & friends to take part or support

* 3Km: 2-laps of the park (3.2Km), 5Km: 3-laps of the park (5.2Km)

* Will set groups of 10 off in 20 second intervals, its not a race just a gentle pace (walkers first..)

* All children will be issued with a certificate

* I will start a new thread for people to log on to.

* you will be warmed up by...'Fitness Julia'!

Other than that, see you guys in the morning for 10am :-)

Best!

How was everyones legs on Sunday? As it was Fitness Julia's birthday on Sunday, I thought she deserved a well earned break so I took her group..... and guess what sort of squats we did? Yep, deep squats! They'll be cursing today I bet ! :))

See message above from LD, she is running a FREE Fitness in your Park on Tuesday evenings too, twice a week for FREE!

And.... if you haven't booked up for next Saturdays Brunch, then you still have a few days left.

McCabe.

Hi all

Just to say a BIG thank you to McCabe for organising such fun and fabulous fitness sessions on the Rye. It was my first time on Saturday and thought it was just brilliant and couldnt have been made to feel more welcomed. Sorry that I struggled to remember people's names but I was concentrating on breathing!! I'm working for the next 2 Saturdays but I'll be back in the New Year. If anyone is reading this and feels nervous about giving it a go - I'd say just go for it! It's free, it's fun and your backside will thank you for it!

A BIG thank you for the Xmas brunch today. You guys are so funny and think we laughed our soaks off!

And YES, let's do next Sat workout too! I will track down my Santa outfit and wear some winter bling too :-)!

Merry Christmas!

McCabe xx

Ps. I'll bring some mulled wine for next week too :-)

Yes indeed,

McCabe will supply the mulled wine with a couple of flasks too!

Also, looking to look for another health care charity event in April - thinking hats on please :-). Ideally, local and either one can relate too or is not common such as FM - Fybromyalgia.

Best!

McCabe

Hi guys,

Just to confirm, as a very special Christmas gift from me to you, have this Saturday off and enjoy a lay in, the Country-side, the Theatre or whatever presses your buttons.

However, the following Saturday is back to normal with bottles of water for arm toning!

Best!

    • There was an excellent discussion on Newscast last night between the BBC Political Editor, the director of the IFS and the director of More In Common - all highly intelligent people with no party political agenda and far more across their briefs than any minister I've seen in years. The consensus was that Labour are so unpopular and untrusted by the electorate already, as are the Conservatives, that breaking the manifesto pledge on income tax wouldn't drive their approval ratings any lower, so they should, and I quote, 'Roll The Dice', hope for the best and see where we are in a couple of years time. As a strategy, i don't know whether I find that quite worrying or just an honest appraisal of what most governments actually do in practice.
    • They are a third of the way through their term Earl. It's no good blaming other people anymore. They only have three years left to fix what is now their own mess. And its not just lies in the manifesto. There were lies at the last budget too, when they said that was it, they weren't coming back for more tax and more borrowing. They'd already blamed the increase in NIC taxes on what they claimed was a thorough investigation. They either knew everything then or they lied about that too .   They need to stop lying and start behaving. If they don't the next government won't be theirs, it will be led by Nigel Farage.  They have to turn it round rapidly. Blaming other people, telling lies and breaking promises isn't going to cut it any more.
    • Is it lame? Or is it Lamey? (sorry)
