siousxiesue
I keep forgetting to ask! Is there still a gathering happening in the tall flats up off Lordship Lane, (amended to say Dawson's Heights!) seeing the fireworks and greeting the new year communally? Alan Medic
Is that the best place to see the fireworks from ED? Is it a good view? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/136103-new-years-eve-in-dulwich/#findComment-1087069 Share on other sites
Angelina
You can't see them in town unless you have a ticket - the buildings are in the way (sorry, you probably know that!)We'll be local too...maybe see you there! Hoopoedi
There's a lovely view (fog permitting) and a nice community atmosphere with lots of well wrapped-up local families on the green hill in front of Dawson Heights but it can be a bit muddy so recommend wellies (and sparklers) all round. Happy New Year EDF-ers! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/136103-new-years-eve-in-dulwich/#findComment-1087205 Share on other sites
Nigello
It is a nice spot to view them and not at all busy - perhaps a few dozen/score or so, at least that was the case in the past few years. HelBel65
Exactly this - especially the mud!
