Well,its almost upon us and I cant wait, so whose going to win obviously my heart says the boys in green but my head says the other boys in green the Bokka, outside of those two I cant really see anybody else.

Ahhh. It is that time again when I have to start brushing up on my rugby knowledge so I can hold my own in the rugby conversations that people seem to spontaneously spring into when they hear my South African accent.

I will follow this thread to keep up.

I don?t really follow or know much about rugby. The only South African sports team I am properly up to speed with at the moment is the England Cricket team (who are not doing very well against India at the moment)

My friends have assured me that the Bokke (As opposed to Bokka if I am to be pedantic. Sorry Spadetownboy) are pretty good at the moment and if they are in the final I will be there with bells on, Johnny-come-lately style as I was in 1995. Which I think is the last time they won the world cup.

I played rugby for a couple of years but it never got me. I'll be rooting for Ireland in the world cup but I don't often put aside time to watch a whole game

I fairly certain that it won't be England picking up the trophy tho.

We'll be rooting for the Jocks here but doubtful they will do anything, although saying that they did thrash England recently!

England will get to the quarters or semis at a very big ush, but that's it. If Wilkinson does get fit to play a game, he'll be targetted by the opposition and taken out of the game! Great player, but never known anyone in any sport to have that sort of injury list. His best moment has past I'm afraid (please let him prove me wrong!).
