1-1 or 2-2 me thinks, let's go with 2-2, a Berbatov double with Van Persie & Eduardo (who comes on as sub & gets the equalizer) & both goals set up by Fabregas. Jol & Wenger to have another touchline row & end up throwing water or squirting that drink over each other & both getting sent to the stands by the ref. Quite an enjoyable game I'd say!! :))

So by my reckoning Annasfield and East Dulwich Angst got 1 each right. Well done to the Scots,

commiserations to the Irish and bloody marvellous

to the welsh!

Me old mate Android17 got the Iceland score right too

I was actually going to suggest the same EDA - heroic effort on your part

(not quite so hot on the others mind you)

3 out of 5 results predicted the right way tho :))

Thanks EDA, I really should have put a bet on but as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing! >:D<

I have just enjoyed watching England thump the Argies 6-1 in the World Cup- thanks in part to 2 penalties, an own goal,a dreadful goalkeeping error and the other lot being down to 10 "men" :-$ - but the score did nonetheless reflect Ingerland's all-round superiority. The quarter final is on Saturday against the USA so no excuses for not draping yourselves in the Flag of St George in front of a TV....

    • Highly recommend James - fixed the electric fault in our kitchen and was punctual and reasonably priced.
    • That's very very clever! Ah, ok. So I just put it in the green bin? Probably better in a black bin bag so it doesn't blow all over the street/recycling centre, but then what happens when they burn it in the black bag? And how do they "get energy from it" when it burns? Is it turned into electricity or something? I went on a tour of the recycling centre years ago, but I don't remember them talking about that! Thanks, I have far too much, it would take years! I do have two "daleks" on my allotment but I would need to store the shredded paper somewhere before using it, and I really want it out of the house. It's taking up more room than the boxes of folders did before 🤣
    • Agreed, it absolutely is, but not as easy to get these days.  We are going to Narbonne next month by train and I tried almost every permutation to avoid going to Paris, but to no avail.
    • It's wood so you can compost it. Probably best to use it like grass cuttings sprinkled into other stuff to let in air and water.
