If you have a leak in the radiator in your car a good way to temporarily plug it is to crack an egg into it.

Save your toenail clippings. Place them inside a knotted stocking and they make a handy pan scourer

If you are drilling into ceramic tiles, use a strip of masking tape over the spot where you want to drill. This will prevent the drill bit from slipping.

it is easier and quicker to hold a nail and tap it with a hammer, thus causing an indent in the glass like surface then the drill bit will not move.

APPLY red nail varnish to fingernails before clipping them. The red nails will be much easier to spot on your bathroom carpet, ( unless you have a red carpet, in which case a contrasting varnish should be selected).
