Went to the Ritzy Cinema last night to see Atonement (very good) to find a red carpet rolled out. I asked who was expected and was told Quentin Trantino was giving a talk! Did anyone go to it? Also, Helen Lederer was in watching Atonement - does she live locally?

Just watched atonement. It was a very good film but the last fifteen minutes... gosh.

We saw QT at the Ritzy - he was there for a preview of Death Proof. God, that film sucked, but he was entertaining enough.

I saw Deathproof at the Ritzy last night at 18.30, didnt see any red carpet though. Very strange movie. Gripping at times but interesting.

Didnt like the book but do find him fascinating. Was he on Ant and Dec's show at the weekend? Remember waking up in my hungover state to hear them say that he was doing annoucements!

hey, pleased to hear that someone else didn't enjoy atonement either. actually don't know why i'm pleased, but good to know that i'm not the only one...

tarantino film has been panned, i'm not into this whole grimehouse crap. so could explain why he's out doing all the appearences he can to hype the film...

Not to accuse him of being a one trick pony, but the lustre has come away from the QT franchise of late.

It would be nice to see him do subtle.
