Isn't the ride payment in itself? Bob?

Felt-tip is spot on here. Immoral, fraudulent and downright dangerous. I shall be writing to Tessa to demand an inquiry.

Thank you felt-tip. I have written them the following letter:

"Dear Sirs

It has come to my attention from reading the east dulwich forum that one of your bus drivers (and i am certain that the problem must be more widespread than this but have no evidence, although it is certainly a fact) is in the habit of collecting members of the public out of hours and providing a free taxi service at the public expense. This seems to me to be immoral, fraudulent and dangerous and i believe the drivers should be punished or probably fired. It also appears that some drivers may require non-monetary payment for this "service". Is this permitted? If so, I should like to apply for a job.

Kind regards

I strongly urge all readers to do the same.

I can cycle from Brixton to Dulwich in less than nine minutes so don't understand what the deal is. In fact the timetable says it should take 14 mins from Brixton Town Hall to Goose Green and that's allowing for all the bus stops en route, so 9 mins seems about right without any need to speed.

    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
