Afterlife was good, starring Leslie Sharp atmospheric and an gloomy feel portraying the paranormal.

OK, Derek Jacobi's daft aging prosthetics (if you can call it that) during the individual prologues betrays the series' age, but the acting is superb - Jacobi has young Claudius down to every last twitch, for instance. And Si?n Phillips' Livia! Honestly, I don't think I've ever witnessed a more accomplished bitch than her on television.

I love I Claudius! There was a recent Radio version on Radio 4, with Derek Jacob playing the part of Augustus. The TV series hasn't aged particularly well, but the writing and acting are so good, you really don't mind.

From sublime to ridiculous, I have to admit to enjoying Episodes.

Have recently started series 1 of Mad Men, and rather enjoying that.
