Loved Pillars of the Earth, still got to watch the last 2. Walking Dead is fabulous, I look forward to it every week, Mad Men is Lush (tu) love it, Vampire Diaries :-$, Merlin, looking forward to 3rd series of True Blood, Desperate Housewives, Medium, I better stop now :-$

Afterlife was good, starring Leslie Sharp atmospheric and an gloomy feel portraying the paranormal.

"Robert Bridge is a psychology lecturer, grieving the loss of his young son Josh, who was killed in a car accident three years earlier. A specialist in the study of psychic mediums, Robert is invited to an 'evening of clairvoyance' where he meets Alison Mundy. Reluctant and cautious, she is a far cry from the fraudulent psychics that sceptic Robert is used to. Alison is different, ever since she was a child she has seen spirits and after a near-death experience they have taken over her life - when she passes people in the street she isn't sure if they are dead or alive, when she lies in bed at night she can't escape the voices that cry out to her. Driven by a compulsion to help those around her, Alison seeks to resolve relationships torn apart by death. When Alison's readings provoke an adverse reaction in one of Robert's own pupils, he begins to study her with the intention of writing about her work and the people she helps. But their association is thrown into crisis when Alison reveals she is touch with Robert's son."

Morse. I've seen them all about a thousand times before, but when he's at his condescending best, I just can't bring myself to change the channel.

I Claudius. I got this on DVD, fully expecting it to never live-up to HBO's Rome, but so-far, I'm hooked. OK, Derek Jacobi's daft aging prosthetics (if you can call it that) during the individual prologues betrays the series' age, but the acting is superb - Jacobi has young Claudius down to every last twitch, for instance. And Si?n Phillips' Livia! Honestly, I don't think I've ever witnessed a more accomplished bitch than her on television.

I love I Claudius! There was a recent Radio version on Radio 4, with Derek Jacob playing the part of Augustus. The TV series hasn't aged particularly well, but the writing and acting are so good, you really don't mind.

From sublime to ridiculous, I have to admit to enjoying Episodes.

Have recently started series 1 of Mad Men, and rather enjoying that.

    • I’m not sure how many other people have experienced this; but both me and one of my friends have the same story. Around Crawthew Grove and Crystal Palace Road: I was followed by a large fox right on my heel. At first I didn’t notice because I had my headphones on, but then I noticed my shadow had an extra lump in it, funnily enough, it was a fox, very very close to my feet. Even if I sped up walking it just tried to get closer - it was quite frightening actually, it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me. I didn’t know what to do so, I started to reprimand the fox and walked slowly away from it, facing it - which it didn’t seem to like and backed off a bit. I then proceeded to speed-walk away.   Quite frankly, the whole situation was quite embarrassing and a little bit frightful as I’d never had a fox even come up to me. I’ve heard of particularly curious foxes that might come up to someone who beckons them, and maybe even bite that person, but I’ve never heard of a fox chasing someone. The amount of confidence that it had was incredible.    When it happened, I was on the way to see some friends, and once I had told one of them, she told me the same thing happened to her.  if anyone else knows anything about this bitey fox then let me know!
    • Another recommendation for Andy. I needed an old kitchen removed as an emergency. Andy came over quickly and did a fantastic job. I have used Andy a few times. He is punctual, helpful and always does an  excellent job.
