without wishing to knock these guys' service (which sounds great); Southwark Council will collect most types of large waste for free if you phone them up - broken furniture, piles of wood, old carpets etc

Though the clearance service from Southwark Council is good, the limit one may use it is 15 times. I think I'm fast approaching that number ...

used them on friday, quick ,efficient and reasonable . took away some builders rubble that southwark would not touch. would recommend them.

In Lewisham, the council charge ?10 to take 3 items!! Its much better here in Southwark, but I have in the past had trouble with things like building rubble.
