Moflo
Ha Ha I should have explained. A dear friend has passed away and she loved Millwall, her family would llike to find a copy of the song, It would have been the original words stating "we are from the Old Kent Road" She was 92 so it would have been an old old version! I myself have no idea being a Gooner so I bow to your superior knowledge! SO keep it clean peeps! Peckhamgatecrasher
Perhaps you meant this one, Quids? He was only a poor little hammer,His face all tattered and torn,He made me feel sick,So I hit 'im with a brick,And now he don't sing anymore.Moflo, Roy Green wrote the original lyrics to the one above - perhaps you could do some 'googling' and see if there are earlier versions. There is a ska copy hanging around somewhere, not sure how that would go at a funeral! Loz
I always thought it was the 'arse of a cow', which would be far more effective in the dumping, but sadly fails to rhyme with cow. Except perhaps in Scotland. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14151-millwall/#findComment-379474 Share on other sites
