felt-tip
how many times are we going to lose by 10 point to the tri-nations and its a result we can "take heart" from. 7 years of rebuilding since 2003 and it still feels like a work in progress.and have the ticket sellers at the new Lansdowne Rd never heard of market research? Disaster. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14176-autumn-internationals/ Share on other sites
Mick Mac
More to the point do they not read the papers. You dont have to do market research to know ireland is in financial crisis. Not many will be able to pay over 100 euro a ticket. The IRFU it seems have admitted their mistake. Bit late though.By the way there is a rugby matters thread for those interested in the subject. As for today, Ireland and SA were abject. NZ are good but not unbeatable and England will get better. I haven't seen Wales v Oz yet but saw the Aussies last w/end.Great backline. Decent forwards and they could win the WC. JohnL
Wales versus Australia was interesting (but disappointing being Welsh)Australia are a really good side with no scrum at allEngland will know exactly where to attack them. Mick Mac
England game is fantastic. Aussies trying to mount a comeback. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14176-autumn-internationals/#findComment-382387 Share on other sites
citizenED
Sounded great. Carnell was even driven to facebook a comment about it. I was at a school jumble sale - so rather than watch the match I was being buffeted about like a winger in a ruck. Stil, try to catch the highlights tonight. Mick Mac
Not looking good for scotland. 21 points up for all blacks after 27 minutes. Ireland were unconvincing apparently in beating samoa. So its englands day. The press will be raving about it tomorrow. Cant wait. Narnia
In reality too Mick. I chose to watch my country playing. Do you change 'countries' each season like you do in football? Mick Mac
Great comeback from Scotland after last weeks defeat.Just sitting down to watch the All Blacks beat Ireland .... again. Ireland have never beaten the all blacks, ever.Apart from the men of Munster 12-0 All Blacks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14176-autumn-internationals/#findComment-384727 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
Good performance by Ireland. "Exceptional" says eddie butler, and it was agreat effort, except the ball handling when going forward which cost Ireland vital opportunities. Shows how good the All Blacks are - huge gap in class between them and anyone else, bar none.
