Cheapest option for picking up a long bit of furniture?

I've seen a lovely bit of IKEA furniture on the forum going free, its 149cm long, I don't have a car, so was wondering if anyone could please advise me on the cheapest way to collect it? Any advice is most welcome as I'm currently out of work so cheap and cheerful is of the order : )

Hither Green to Goose Green. It's a lovely bit of furniture, have missed 3 of the same going free on here, they cost about ?50 new, but then Ikea charge almost that for delivery!
