We flying to Canada with a toddler and newborn. I want to take our P&T, but was wondering if anyone knows if we can take it right to the gate (or a similar large non umbrella type buggy). We are flying BA so will be in terminal 5. It will be our toddler's nap time while in airport and do not fancy having no buggy for three hours at the airport.

Thanks

You can take the P&T's to the gate at T5 - I would also recommend the travel bag for it - we didn't have one on the way to Oz & it was very battered by the time we got to Sydney. Every terminal is different though, so I'd pack a sling for the newborn just in case you cant take the pram all the way on your return leg.

Hello, I have a Phil and Ted Vibe travel bag that I bought when we were going to Canada last year (coincidently) to protect the buggy. I did not take the buggy in the end as I opted for Maclaren for the then 15 months leaving her 2 and half year old sister in daddy's arm. Not so comfortable for either of them given the waiting time, in the hindsight, I should have taken the P & T!

If you are interested in the travel bag, PM me.

    • Thanks all!  KateS - boulangerie Jade is a nice cafe, but they don't do fresh cream cakes. Their eclairs are filled with patisserie cream (a kind of custard), not fresh cream. Azalea- thanks and I've been to Bunhead Bakery (a Palestinian bakery) in Herne Hill a few times. There's a nice chocolate bun they do, which is amazing when then sauce is warmed up. But I haven't seen any fresh cream things there, only white icing. Maybe it's only on a certain day.  And the last time I checked, Ayres bakers in Nunhead don't do fresh cream things. These are the kind of fresh baked goods I'm thinking of....
    • Warning to parents using the playground in Dulwich Park. My daughter and her friends found a bag of ‘crunchy powder’ in the children’s playground this morning around 11ish. They thought it was ‘popping candy’ and all tried some before seen with it. Request to parents using the playground - if you see plastics bags with suspect looking contents or powder on the floor in the playground or park: pick it up and throw it in the bin. Don’t walk past and think someone else will deal with it. The next person to walk by might be a child who could pick it up not understanding what it could be. Hopefully our daughter and her friends will be ok and it’s a lucky escape. But please be aware in case anyone else’s child may have found it before them.
    • I’m looking for some ply sheets, ideally 9mm or 12mm. It doesn’t have to look good. As long as it’s not rotten it’ll be fine. I’d like bigger sheets, but I’m open to whatever anyone’s got. If you can help, drop me a DM.  Cheers
    • the only known name is from that poster in the window where it says to email [email protected]. I thought that website might shed some light on who is creating the posters I hope whoever was attacked is doing ok, but agree there is something very off/vigilante-ish about all of this
